This is my first venture into creating a kit. I really wanted to make some laser cut forms that would be easy and fun for the whole family to put together and use for decoration this holiday season.
One of my initial prototypes. After testing I realized this would be too difficult for little hands to construct.
I made at least ten different prototypes until I decided on the final 3 shapes that I think look great and are simple to put together. They are actually double shapes that the maker folds in half and simply glue onto a strand of lights. When complete you have a strand of twenty small forms that look like shining stars. So pretty!
I sold these at the Vernon Maker Fair to help raise money for our neighborhood public school.
